St Thomas was designed by local architects in 1938 who remain commissioned by the church.

We refurbished 15 metal frame windows. The repairs included piecing in new sections to the metal frames, leaded light and stained glass repairs and refurbishing opening lights, followed by redecoration.

The Cambridge St Collective is a key part of the transformation of Sheffield city centre.

We repaired and conserved a series of historic buildings on this site; the Bethel Chapel, Sunday School, Brewhouse and Henrys Corner. Our work included 900m2 lime mortar re-pointing, 1500m2 thermatech cleaning, leadworks and masonry repairs.

St Marys Presbytery, Staffs.

Presbytery. Mid C19. By Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin. Red brick with ashlar dressings; clay tile roof; brick stacks to rear. 2 storeys; 2:1 windows; projecting gabled wing to right; 2, 3 and 4 light mullioned windows containing glazing bar casements. One of a group of buildings associated with R.C. Church of St. Mary (qv) and designed by Pugin.

We completed internal alterations including redecoration, installation of an en-suite, replacement of the bathroom suite, leaded light window repairs and associated works.

St Giles Church, Notts.

"I went and had a really good look around the changes to St Giles' Church yesterday.

A fantastic job has been done. The flooring is excellent (and I know the underfloor heating works because I checked during the service). The relocation of the medieval pews is inspired. It looks so much better and is far more practical. I even had a look in the bespoke storage cupboards. Again, a brilliant design. Everything is so much more tidy and neat.

I am delighted that the ancient historical aspects are retained yet it has also created space for a more modern use.

A wonderful job has been done in the design and execution of the project. You must be very proud.

Access to the school was made difficult by a collapsing verge encroaching on to the footpath.

We removed trees and vegetation, excavated and formed a raft foundation upon 4m deep piles.

We built a blockwork and blue lias stone wall, installed a bow top fence and renewed the tarmacadam footpath.

St Mary's House, The Close, Lichfield

Grade II* St Marys House is partially constructed from medieval walls and has seen significant alterations over the C19. It is currently home to the Lichfield Diocesan Board.

We created an entrance by converting two confessionals into a new lobby, complete with bespoke oak doors, ramp and bollard lighting. We also completed slate and tile roof repairs, metal window refurbishment, lime mortar pointing and two replacement roof coverings using polymer modified mastic asphalt.

We have now completed our second contract at Wyvern School in Wolverton. Internal rainwater goods had leaked, causing damage to the ceilings, walls and floor coverings. We were appointed as principle contractor to repair the damage. The works involved roof structure repairs, replacement insulated flat roof coverings, new openable polycarbonate domed rooflights and repairs to the slate roof coverings. We removed pigeon guano from the roof space, replaced lath and plaster ceilings and installed new internal cast iron rainwater pipes. Associated electrical and fire alarm works were carried out and finally re-decoration and the installation of new floor coverings.

Our project at the Royal Shakespeare Company

...is now complete. Our team of craftsmen conserved the timber roof structure and masonry facade over a 12 month period. Fronted by the 1887 former scene dock, the costume workshop is the largest of any British theatre, employing 30 people. The grade II listed building has been conserved and adapted, creating new facilities for costume making, training and visitors.

We were delighted to receive such kind words from the chartered building surveyor overseeing our project. As principle contractor, we erected internal and external access scaffold and carefully refurbished the timber framed lantern to the Sherwood Building. We removed ACMs and installed new casement windows, repairing others. The internal ceiling was replaced and the metal winding gear mechanism restored. The lead hips and cill apron were renewed along with all broken and damaged slates. New laminated safety glass and cast iron rwgs were installed and the lantern was redecorated throughout.

New Street was laid out during the 18^th century and contains the prime Georgian townscape in Leicester. By 1835 it had become the location of Leicester’s legal profession and grade II listed Nr 2 remains so today. It was built on land which was part of the old Greyfriars Monastery.

A short walk from here towards the Cathedral is the King Richard III visitor centre, located right next to the spot where his remains were found under a car park in 2012.

We were commissioned as part of a wider regeneration scheme of the area to de-clutter, restore and re-decorate the frontage of Nr 2 on the corner of New Street and Friar Lane.

Initially, we undertook timber repairs to the entrance canopy, followed by removal of redundant fixtures and re-decoration of the lead clad stone window cills and plinth. We were then asked to re-decorate the canopy and road signs, which required careful stripping back of the many layers of paint.

It is a privilege to have played our small part in the conservation of this historic part of Leicester.

Blenheim Palace,
Stable Tower

We have completed the re-roofing of the Stable Tower in April 2020 during the Covid19 pandemic. The original lead was stripped, re-cast and re-laid with wood cored rolls. The timber roof structure was repaired and falls reconfigured. We also introduced ventilation to the upper roof sheets and gutter flashings. During the construction, access was gained via a Haki staircase with the scaffold base hoarded and alarmed.
